ESN recalls protein bars due to plastic contamination

Fitmart GmbH & Co. KG has issued a recall for ESN Designer Protein Bar Dark Chocolate Salted Almond due to the presence of hard, transparent plastic foreign bodies. These fragments are approximately the size of the almond pieces contained in the bars.

Consuming the affected products poses a risk of injury, particularly through swallowing the plastic. The recall specifically targets the 45-gram bars with the expiration date of April 13, 2027, and batch number L3226505-11.

Because it is not possible to determine which specific bars within the batch contain the fragments, the entire batch is being recalled. Consumers are advised not to eat or distribute the affected bars and should return them for a refund.
