Espacio Unzué to become labor training center in Mar del Plata
The Espacio Unzué in Mar del Plata is set to be transformed into a center for labor training and human capital development. Following a meeting between local business leaders and Argentina's Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, the national government confirmed plans to renovate the historic building to host vocational courses.
The project involves a public-private collaboration where the government funds the restoration of the site, while the private sector manages the training programs designed to prepare individuals for future employment. Remodeling work is reportedly already underway in certain areas of the facility.
In a separate community event, the 'Mar del Plata Ciudad de Todos' group celebrated its first anniversary. During the gathering, a Neighborhood Consultation Ordinance Project was formally presented, aiming to increase direct democratic participation in the General Pueyrredon district. The event also recognized various social organizations and community leaders for their contributions to the city.
