Espai LaGranja resumes free dance training and launches ‘Ressò’

Espai LaGranja, a resource and mediation space for dance and movement arts under the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC), is resuming its regular programming on September 7. The new season offers free training sessions specifically for dance professionals to support their physical and technical maintenance.

The schedule includes classical technique sessions led by instructors José Belda and Leo Santos on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, a contemporary dance cycle is being held in collaboration with the Asociación de Profesionales de la Danza de la Comunidad Valenciana (APDCV). During September, dancer Alex Guerra will lead these sessions, focusing on somatic perception and movement patterns using Feldenkrais method principles.

A new initiative titled ‘Ressò’ has been added to the season. Led by Neus Barberà, these weekly sessions held on Mondays are open to the general public and aim to introduce the community to traditional Valencian dances and folk heritage.
