Esperia construction site closed due to safety violations and illegal labor

Authorities in Esperia have shut down a construction site following inspections by the Carabinieri and the Frosinone Labor Inspectorate. The investigation revealed serious safety violations, including the lack of electrical risk precautions, absence of hygienic services, and failure to produce a Safety Operational Plan (POS).

In addition to safety breaches, inspectors discovered two workers employed illegally without proper documentation. The company was also found to be operating without the required construction credit license. As a result, the business has been suspended, the legal representative has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office in Cassino, and the firm faces a six-month ban from public contracts and approximately 17,000 euros in sanctions.
