ESPN and Apple Music partner for Monday Night Football music

ESPN and Apple Music have announced a partnership to curate music for the 2026-27 Monday Night Football season. The collaboration will feature curated musical selections across ESPN promotional spots, live game telecasts, and the Monday Night Countdown program.

The partnership is part of ESPN’s “Year of the Super Bowl,” serving as a lead-up to the network’s first Super Bowl production, Super Bowl LXI, on February 14, 2027, and the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. Apple Music succeeds previous musical collaborators such as Drake, DJ Khaled, and Marshmello.

Lil Baby’s single “Dead Fresh” has been selected for the Week 1 promotional efforts. The season kicks off on September 14 with the Denver Broncos facing the Kansas City Chiefs. The broadcast team will include Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge.
