ESPN College GameDay announces 2026 SEC opening schedule

ESPN has announced the broadcast schedule for the 2026 season of ‘College GameDay’, which will feature three consecutive SEC matchups to open the season. The show will visit LSU in Baton Rouge for Week 1, the University of Texas in Week 2, and Ole Miss in Oxford for Week 3.

The Week 3 destination in Oxford is highlighted by the return of LSU head coach Lane Kiffin to face his former team, the Ole Miss Rebels. Kiffin’s departure from Ole Miss following their recent College Football Playoff run has made this matchup a focal point of the early season.

Additionally, the SEC Network has announced its Week 1 locations for ‘SEC Nation’ and ‘Marty & McGee’. ‘SEC Nation’ will originate from Atlanta for the Auburn vs. Baylor game, while ‘Marty & McGee’ will broadcast from Baton Rouge ahead of the LSU vs. Clemson matchup.
