ESPN College GameDay to broadcast from Provo for BYU-Notre Dame matchup

College GameDay college football BYU Notre Dame top-10 matchup

ESPN has announced that its pregame show, College GameDay, will broadcast live from BYU's campus in Provo on Saturday, Oct. 17. This marks the program's second visit to Provo, the first since 2009.

The broadcast precedes a top-10 matchup between No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 8 BYU. This contest represents the first time two top-10 teams will meet in Provo. Both teams enter the game undefeated in the 2026 season, with Notre Dame at 6-0 and BYU at 5-0.

The live show is scheduled to air from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. MT. The broadcast will feature host Rece Davis alongside analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, and Nick Saban. The game itself is set for a 5:30 p.m. MT kickoff on ABC.
