ESPN FC 100 ranking features eight Brazilian players

ESPN has released its annual FC 100 ranking, identifying the 100 best football players in the world. The list categorizes players by position, providing a comprehensive breakdown of global talent.

France leads the ranking with 14 players, followed by Spain and England, which both have 12 representatives. Brazil is represented by eight players, all of whom currently play in European leagues: Gabriel Magalhães, Raphinha, João Pedro, Alisson, Marquinhos, Vinicius Júnior, Bruno Guimarães, and Igor Thiago.

The Premier League is the most prominent domestic competition in the ranking, accounting for 38 players. At the club level, PSG holds a significant presence with 13 players included in the list. The ranking also notes the continued presence of stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, despite them playing outside of European football.
