Alisa Bowen appointed CEO of FuboTV as co‑founder David Gandler steps down

Streaming platform FuboTV announced that Alisa Bowen, former president of Disney+, will become chief executive officer on July 10. Bowen, 53, brings nearly three decades of experience leading Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+, and will receive an annual base salary of $1.58 million with a performance bonus targeted at 120 % of salary, plus restricted stock unit awards.

Co‑founder David Gandler, who has led FuboTV since its 2015 launch, will leave the role and resign from the board, receiving severance benefits under his employment agreement. His nomination for re‑election to the board was withdrawn. Bowen is expected to join the board pending shareholder approval at the annual meeting.

The leadership change follows Disney’s acquisition of a majority stake in FuboTV and the integration of its Hulu + Live TV operations, positioning the company for further growth in the pay‑TV streaming market.
