ESPN The Ocho Returns to Disney World’s Wide World of Sports

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, ESPN’s The Ocho returned for a second consecutive year to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World on August 7, 2026. Admission and parking were offered free of charge, making the event a family‑friendly highlight of the Disney World vacation season.

The daylong showcase featured ten live competitions, mixing new offbeat events such as Donk Toss, Roofball and Housekeeping Games with returning crowd‑pleasers like Slippery Stairs, Combat Archery, Dodgeball and the Big League Wiffle Ball World Series. "The Ocho has carved out a real place in our portfolio over the past decade," said Christopher Solomon, ESPN Programming Coordinator, noting the event’s growing popularity and its unique place in the network’s lineup.
