Bahia forward Ademir sidelined by injury and suspension

Esporte Clube Bahia faces significant roster changes ahead of their Campeonato Brasileiro match against Chapecoense. Forward Ademir will be unavailable for approximately three to four weeks due to a diagnosed left adductor muscle strain. Additionally, Ademir is serving a suspension following a third yellow card received in a recent match against Vasco.

To compensate for these absences, manager Rogério Ceni will have the return of young attackers Ruan Pablo and Kauê Furquim, both of whom have been participating in activities with Brazilian youth national teams. Erick Pulga is also expected to return to the lineup after serving a suspension. Ademir is projected to miss several key fixtures, including the upcoming match against Chapecoense, the BaVi derby, and the clash against Internacional, with a potential return against Red Bull Bragantino in early September.
