Esporte Clube Bahia registers Lautaro López as transfer window closes

Esporte Clube Bahia has finalized its transfer window activity with the registration of Argentine midfielder Lautaro López. The 21-year-old joins on loan from Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay through the end of the season. As part of the City Group, which owns Bahia, López is expected to undergo development at the club before being fully integrated into the professional squad.

In preparation for the upcoming Campeonato Brasileiro match against Remo, left-back Luciano Juba expressed confidence in the team's progress despite a difficult recent record against the opponent. Juba noted his personal evolution in defensive and offensive aspects since joining the club in 2023. Bahia currently sits in 5th place with 43 points heading into the 27th round of the championship.
