Esporte Clube Pinheiros athletes called up for Paralympic Rowing World Championship

Paralympic Rowing World Championship Esporte Clube Pinheiros adaptive rowing Bosbaan Brazilian rowing delegation

Three athletes from Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Jairo Klug, Claudia Santos, and Gabriel Mendes, have been called up to represent Brazil at the 2026 Paralympic Rowing World Championship. The event is scheduled to take place from August 24 to 30 at Lake Bosbaan in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Jairo Klug will compete in the PR3 2x MIX event, marking his seventh World Championship appearance. Claudia Santos will participate in the Skiff PR1, and Gabriel Mendes will compete in the 4+ PR3. Coach Alexandre Nunes is also part of the Brazilian delegation.

The athletes are currently in Italy for an acclimatization period to prepare for the high-level competition.
