Esporte Clube Pinheiros hosts 1st Sports Development Forum

Esporte Clube Pinheiros held its 1st Sports Development Forum at the Silnei Siqueira Auditorium. Organized by the club’s Integrated Philosophy Department, the event aimed to strengthen sports formation projects and improve athletic development beyond high-performance competition.

Club president André Fiore stated that the initiative is part of a restructuring process aligned with the General Sports Law and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB). The forum focused on providing members with a complete athletic trajectory.

Guest speaker Michel Milistetd from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) discussed the importance of healthy relationships between athletes, coaches, and parents to create a sustainable training environment. Fencer Gabriela Vianna also participated, highlighting the importance of addressing an athlete's holistic needs rather than focusing solely on physical performance and competition.
