Esporte Clube Pinheiros wins 11 golds at Troféu José Finkel

Esporte Clube Pinheiros concluded its participation in the Troféu José Finkel Brazilian Absolute Swimming Championship with a strong performance, securing 11 gold, 15 silver, and 15 bronze medals.

The club's results included nine athletes achieving qualifying times for the World Championships in China. Head coach André Ferreira noted that despite the last-minute absence of four athletes affecting relay structures, the team expects at least five athletes to be called up for the World Championships, including Caio Pumputis, Leonardo Santos, Murilo Sartori, Pedro Sansone, and Kaique Alves.

In the relay events, the women's 4x100m medley team took gold with a time of 3:58.00, featuring Maria Luiza Peessanha, Mercedes Salazar, Clarissa Rodrigues, and Beatriz Bezerra. The men's 4x100m medley team earned silver with a time of 3:26.21, composed of Ricardo Balduccini, Caio Pumputis, Leonardo Santos, and Kaique Alves.
