BaiSha Gaming wins CrossFire title at EWC 2026

BaiSha Gaming has claimed the CrossFire championship at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, defeating Team Liquid with a dominant 3-0 sweep in the Grand Finals. The Chinese team secured $750,000 in prize money and earned 1,000 Club Championship points. The victory marks a significant revival for the legendary squad, led by veteran player Wang ‘N9’ Hao, who was named the tournament’s MVP and received a $25,000 bonus.

In the Grand Finals, BaiSha Gaming controlled the match from the start, winning the first set 10-1 and following up with consecutive 10-4 victories in the second and third sets. Team Liquid, which was seeking a victory to climb the Club Championship rankings, was unable to mount a successful comeback.

In the third-place match, KINGZERO-eSports defeated Team Stallions 3-0 to secure a podium finish and $210,000. The EWC 2026 CrossFire competition, held in Paris, featured 16 teams from various global regions competing for a total prize pool of $2 million. Additionally, the victory grants the Chinese region an extra qualifying slot for the CFS 2026 Grand Finals.
