Police in Portugal conduct multiple arrests for various crimes

Several distinct criminal incidents have been reported across Portugal involving various offenses.

In Funchal, the PSP arrested a 33-year-old man for drug trafficking after seizing approximately two kilograms of hashish during a home search. The suspect has been placed in preventive detention.

In Vila Real, the Polícia Judiciária detained a 37-year-old Portuguese national wanted by Luxembourg authorities for document forgery. The individual allegedly falsified a vehicle sale contract and simulated a 10,000-euro bank transfer to avoid vehicle seizure. He is currently in preventive detention.

In Esposende, a 50-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening family members and setting fire to a relative's vehicle following inheritance disputes. The suspect faces charges of arson and threats.

In Melides, Grândola, the GNR arrested a 64-year-old man suspected of attempted homicide after he allegedly stabbed his 60-year-old brother during an argument. The victim sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
