Esposito brothers approach national team record

Sebastiano and Pio Esposito are making significant strides with the Italian national football team. Following a strong debut against Turkey, Sebastiano Esposito started in the recent 1-1 draw against France at the Stade de France.

Sebastiano expressed his pride in representing Italy after the match, noting his growth alongside the national team. Manager Roberto Mancini praised his performance, highlighting his movement and work rate, though noting there is still room for development.

The brothers are approaching a historical milestone. Having played together in two matches, they are nearing the record held by Giuseppe and Felice Milano, who played together three times between 1912 and 1913. Their talent was originally identified by lawyer Roberto La Florio, who noted the inseparable bond between the three Esposito brothers.
