Espírito Santo Military Police expands force through recruitment and field training

The Military Police of Espírito Santo (PMES) is conducting recruitment and training activities to bolster public security in the state. The application deadline for the 2026 Soldier Training Course (CFSD) ends on August 10, offering 1,008 vacancies, including 1,000 for combat soldiers and 8 for musician soldiers. Candidates must have a high school diploma and meet specific age and physical requirements.

Simultaneously, the PMES has deployed 490 student-soldiers from the 2025 training course to begin supervised professional internships in the Greater Vitória metropolitan area. This 360-hour practical stage follows 1,500 hours of theoretical and technical instruction. Governor Ricardo Ferraço stated that these initiatives are part of a larger effort to recompose the police force and increase presence on the streets to improve state safety.
