Espírito Santo polling suggests two pro-Lula senators

In Espírito Santo, polling suggests the state could elect two senators aligned with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the upcoming October 4 election. Former governor Renato Casagrande (PSB) leads with 49.8% of the intended votes, while Fabiano Contarato (PT) follows with 22.7%.

To secure election, a candidate typically needs approximately 800,000 votes. Contarato, who is seeking reelection, is currently positioned ahead of Serginho Meneguelli (PSD), who holds 19.3%. The political landscape in the state shows a division on the right among four candidates, while the left appears more consolidated around the Lula-aligned candidates.
