Esquel and Neuquén approve industrial park incentives in Argentina

The Esquel City Council has approved the sale of land to Hertz, which plans to invest over one billion pesos in new infrastructure. The project, located in the Esquel Industrial Park, will include an automatic car wash and a vehicle inspection area to support the company’s rental fleet. Local officials noted that the investment is expected to create new jobs and revitalize the industrial park.

In Neuquén, the City Council has established a special tax regime to attract businesses to the Capital Neuquén Industrial Park. Companies that settle in the area will receive a 10-year exemption from commercial license fees, provided they present investment projects within one year and complete construction within three years. Land is priced at US$ 20 per square meter, with a 30% down payment and the remaining balance payable in 24 installments.
