Essen police investigate shooting targeting Sinan-G

A murder investigation has been launched in Essen, Germany, following a shooting incident in the city center during the early hours of Monday. Police received reports around 1:00 AM regarding a masked individual firing shots at a vehicle near a parking lot at the University of Essen.

The victim, identified by social media personality Ghazi47 as 38-year-old Sinan-G, reportedly sustained injuries from glass splinters and gunshot wounds. While the victim was reported to be in stable condition awaiting hospital discharge, police seized his mobile phone during the night. A homicide commission has been established to investigate the attack.
