Essential oil drops on toilet paper core release scent with each pull

Placing a few drops of essential oil onto the cardboard core of a toilet‑paper roll allows the fragrance to be released gradually each time the roll turns, giving a light, continuous scent in the bathroom without the need for a diffuser.

The method, cited by Times of India, recommends oils such as lemon, tea tree, orange, eucalyptus, lavender or pine. Users are advised to apply the oil only to the hard core, keeping it away from the paper that contacts skin, and to remember that the hack does not replace regular cleaning or disinfecting products.
