Essex photography competition launched for 2027 calendar

Essex Life magazine and St Helena have launched a photography competition for residents to have their work featured in the 2027 Essex Life Readers' Calendar. The contest seeks 14 images that capture the county's seasonal beauty, including coastal scenes, landscapes, wildlife, and local landmarks.

Submissions must be in landscape format, at least 3,000 pixels on their shortest edge, and taken within the past year. Selected photographers will be featured in a special magazine segment, and all 14 winners will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar. The overall winner will receive a picture frame gallery set valued at £25. The deadline for entries is August 31.
