Red Arrows perform at Clacton Airshow and regional flypasts

The Red Arrows RAF aerobatic team is performing at several events across the United Kingdom. At the Clacton Airshow in Essex, the team is scheduled for a display on the second day, with flights expected to transit from RAF Mildenhall over East Anglia and north Essex before arriving in Clacton. The airshow also features the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, including a Spitfire, Hurricane, and C-47 Dakota.

Essex Police has issued safety advice for the Clacton event, noting that officers will be on patrol to manage large crowds and address anti-social behavior. Authorities have also implemented drone restrictions within a 5.5km radius of the Clacton seafront to ensure airspace safety.

In other regions, the Red Arrows are conducting flypasts due to previous scheduling changes. The team will perform a flypast over the Dorset coast at Lyme Bay and another over Sidmouth during the Sidmouth Regatta. These flypasts follow earlier cancellations caused by weather and operational constraints. The Sidmouth programme includes various displays such as the Navy Wings formation and AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers.
