Estadio Monumental de Caracas receives safety certification

The Estadio Monumental de Caracas ‘Simón Bolívar’ has received a ‘green label’ following a safety inspection by the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Infrastructure Habitability. Civil engineer Cristina Mejías confirmed that the stadium is in good structural condition.

While the overall assessment is positive, engineers noted that certain construction system details will be reviewed and corrected to further improve structural quality and the spectator experience. The venue, located in La Rinconada, serves as the home field for the Leones del Caracas baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
