Estadio Nacional hosts memorial action for women's memory
Groups including Red de Terapeutas Tierra y Territorio, Casa Mundanas, and Bordadoras de Los Andes held an action at the Estadio Nacional to commemorate September 11. The event featured a large paper mache sculpture referred to as ‘La Memo,’ representing the collective memory of women across generations.
The installation serves as a tribute to those who fought for territory, rights for impoverished women, and nutrition for children. The participants expressed a commitment to maintaining historical memory against current political shifts, invoking the legacy of figures like Víctor Jara and the struggles of past social movements.
