Estadio Quisqueya security staff receive emergency training
Security personnel at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal have undergone specialized emergency training to prepare for the upcoming winter baseball season, which begins on October 16. The training session, organized by FDD Seguridad, was led by Lieutenant Colonel Otto Geraldino of the National District Fire Department.
The instruction focused on crowd management, evacuation protocols, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. The initiative aims to strengthen response capabilities during large-scale events when the Leones del Escogido play at the stadium. FDD Seguridad president Fabián de Dios Heredia noted that the training was prompted by recent seismic activity in the region and previous incidents at the venue.
