Estado de México launches professionalization program for transport operators

The Government of the State of Mexico has launched an integral strategy to professionalize public transport operators. Through a collaboration between the Secretariats of Labor and Mobility, training will be provided via the Institute for Industrial Work Training and Apprenticeship (ICATI).

The program focuses on road safety, accident prevention, emergency response, and responsible vehicle handling. Objectives include improving driver certification levels, instructor training, and the renewal of licenses to ensure safer and more efficient mobility within the state.
