Estado de México moves to declare October 29 as State Day of Caregivers

The State of Mexico Congress has favorably ruled on an initiative to declare October 29 as the State Day of Caregivers. Pegueros Velázquez noted that the initiative aligns with international standards and seeks to transform caregiving into a recognized social responsibility. The proposal has passed through commissions and awaits discussion by the Plenary. This move is intended to serve as a foundation for building a comprehensive Care System within the State of Mexico.
