Estado de México: Technical errors delay Mujeres con Bienestar payments

The Secretaría de Bienestar del Estado de México has acknowledged technical issues preventing thousands of beneficiaries of the ‘Mujeres con Bienestar’ program from receiving their 2,500 peso payments. The problem is primarily caused by duplicate data in the system, which occurs when personal information such as CURP, email addresses, or phone numbers are shared between multiple registrants.

Beneficiaries may experience blocked accounts or zero balances if they have held an active card for more than two months without a deposit, or if they used the same contact information for more than one person during registration.

Authorities have clarified that there is no website or application to resolve these errors. To correct the issue and release the funds, beneficiaries must visit their nearest Distribution Center (CEDIS) in person to file an official technical report. There is currently no official date confirmed for the next scheduled deposit.
