International sports events scheduled across Mexico, Spain, and Chile

Various international and regional sporting events are scheduled for September 2026. In Mexico, the NORCECA Final Six Women's volleyball tournament will be held in Zinacantepec, featuring teams from Canada, the US, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Additionally, León will host the XXIII Pan American Women's Volleyball Cup, involving ten continental teams.

In combat sports, the Mexican national boxing team secured the team championship at the BOXAM International in Spain, earning 53 medals. Meanwhile, Monterrey is set to host the 2026 Pan-American Mixed Martial Arts Championship, where Mexico aims for its sixth consecutive title. In Chile, La Florida will host a professional boxing event on December 12 to promote national titles.

Other notable events include the Copa San Mateo boxing night in Logroño, Spain, and Tlaxcala, Mexico, presenting its high-performance sports infrastructure to ACES América evaluators in pursuit of the 2027 American Sports City recognition.
