Estação Cabo Branco hosts student art exhibition for 6th Early Childhood Art Festival

The 6th Early Childhood Art Festival (Fapi) has opened an exhibition at Estação Cabo Branco in João Pessoa, featuring works by students from the municipal school system. Titled ‘The Joy of Being a Child in Brazilian Art: memories, play, and popular culture’, the event showcases paintings, sculptures, and toys made from recycled materials.

Organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Education and Culture (Sedec-JP), the exhibition aims to highlight the creative role of children in their own education. The opening included storytelling and a theatrical performance by the Coral do Ninho do Saber El Shaday. The works are inspired by major Brazilian cultural references and artists.

In a separate local initiative, students from the General Rodrigo Otávio Municipal School are also holding an exhibition titled ‘A Look at the World’ at the Central Library of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) for 30 days to promote artistic expression and connect schools with university spaces.
