Liga Portugal has approved the pitch at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra following a technical inspection, confirming it is fit for professional sports.

This approval ensures that Associação Académica de Coimbra can host its scheduled match against CD Feirense on August 14 at 18:00. The pitch maintenance and management had been entrusted to the Portuguese Football Federation since July 1 to prepare the venue for the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. Following a period of natural regeneration, the surface has met the necessary regulatory requirements for professional football.
