Estúdio Solo showcases sustainable Cerrado landscaping at CASACOR Brasília

The “O Avesso do Chão” project by Estúdio Solo, presented at CASACOR Brasília 2026, demonstrates sustainable landscaping techniques tailored to the Cerrado biome. Spanning 1,280 square meters, the design emphasizes the use of native species such as copaíba and gueroba, which are naturally adapted to local drought conditions and seasonal changes.

By selecting vegetation that aligns with the regional climate, the project aims to reduce maintenance requirements and increase ecological responsibility. Additionally, the design incorporates repurposed materials, such as adobe with demolition tiles for flooring, to create a space that is both aesthetically dynamic and environmentally integrated.
