Estée Lauder Hellas supports breast cancer prevention in Athens
Estée Lauder Hellas has launched an awareness campaign to support breast cancer prevention and education. As part of the initiative, three iconic landmarks in Athens—the ‘Runner’ by Kostas Varotsos, ‘Theseus’ by Sofia Vari-Mpotero in Kotzia Square, and ‘Girl in Ecstasy’ by Michalis Tombros in Kypseli—are being illuminated in pink. This lighting will remain in place until November 9.
In addition to the visual campaign, the company is donating 1% of its total retail sales from all group brands during October to the Hellenic Cancer Society. These funds will support the society’s Mobile Mammography unit, which provides free screenings to women in remote and underprivileged areas of Greece. To date, the partnership has provided over 9,500 free mammograms to women lacking access to preventive care.
