Esteban Echeverría mayor meets Chinese investors for logistics projects

Fernando Gray, the mayor of Esteban Echeverría, met with a mission of Chinese entrepreneurs interested in investing in the district. The delegation visited the El Jagüel industrial park to evaluate logistics infrastructure for potential projects involving the storage and distribution of various brands.

Led by businessman Tarek Zhang, the group toured the Frávega distribution center to observe logistics operations, including storage, classification, and distribution processes. The mission is considering the installation of a warehouse designed to receive and distribute products from multiple brands. Mayor Gray noted that such investments could positively impact the community by generating new local jobs. The municipality is promoting these initiatives through its ‘Invertí en Esteban Echeverría’ program, which offers benefits to companies that establish themselves or expand operations within the district.
