Esteban Ocon admits difficult season with Haas, future remains uncertain

French Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon said he has nothing to announce about his future as he endures his toughest first half of the season with Haas. After ten races he has scored only three points, while teammate Oliver Bearman has eighteen, highlighting the car’s lack of consistency.

Ocon, whose contract with the American‑based team runs until the end of 2026, said the upcoming summer break will be “quite eventful” and that the first discussions about his future will be with Haas. He noted that the team is working hard to resolve the many technical problems that have hampered performance and that a decision on his seat could involve a rookie replacement.

The remarks were made on the media day at the Hungarian Grand Prix, with Ocon emphasizing that the difficulties are shared by the whole team and that they remain focused on improving results.
