Esteban Ocon faces uncertain future at Haas F1

Esteban Ocon has described the first half of the 2026 Formula 1 season as the most difficult of his career. Following a disappointing performance with the Haas F1 Team, the Frenchman faces potential replacement due to a lack of results.

Ocon has secured only three points across eleven races, with his scoring coming from a tenth-place finish in Suzuka and a ninth-place finish in Monaco. In contrast, his teammate Oliver Bearman has accumulated 18 points, though the majority of those were scored during the first two race weekends of the season.

Internal statistics show Bearman leading the qualifying duel 8-3. While Ocon has managed to finish ahead of Bearman in two races, Bearman has finished ahead of Ocon seven times. Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu noted that assessing performance is complicated by the inconsistency of the Haas car, which has presented puzzling performance differences for both drivers.
