Esteban Ribovics knocks out King Green at UFC 332

Argentine lightweight Esteban Ribovics secured a first-round knockout victory against King Green at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on October 3. Ribovics stopped the bout after scoring three knockdowns, prompting referee Herb Dean to halt the fight.

The victory followed a period of significant tension between the two fighters' camps. The conflict reportedly began after Ribovics narrowly missed weight for the catchweight bout. Ribovics stated in an interview with Hablemos MMA that members of Green’s team, including professional boxer Arnold Barboza Jr., attempted to bully and disrespect him during fight week.

Ribovics described a series of confrontations, including an exchange before the ceremonial weigh-ins and a more serious incident outside a hotel where he alleges Green shoved him. Ribovics characterized the knockout as the most satisfying win of his career due to the pre-fight circumstances.
