Regional social and economic initiatives announced across Mexico

Various regional administrative and social initiatives are being implemented across Mexico. In Yucatán, DIF Yucatán and Fundación CIMA x Ti have signed a collaboration agreement to develop social programs aimed at improving the welfare and development of children in the state.

In Baja California, DIF Baja California and CANACO Mexicali have formed a strategic alliance to support minors in temporary shelters through educational, cultural, and vocational training programs designed to facilitate future labor market integration.

In Playa del Carmen, Mayor Estefanía Mercado has announced several measures to support the local economy and residents. These include a 50% discount on business operating licenses to encourage investment and job creation, as well as a 45% discount on ferry services to Cozumel for local residents via the Pase Playense program. Additionally, municipal authorities have activated 'Operativo Tormenta' to manage citizen safety and infrastructure during recent heavy rains.

In Quintana Roo, Reyna Tamayo Carballo, president of the PAN party, stated that party members will decide whether to run alone or in an alliance for the 2027 elections, noting that current efforts are focused on territorial work.
