Estefanía Mercado initiates land regularization in San Judas Tadeo

Municipal President Estefanía Mercado has initiated topographic work to begin the regularization process for the San Judas Tadeo neighborhood. This move aims to provide legal certainty to families who have long sought formal recognition of their residency.

The technical topographic studies will establish the necessary conditions for the subsequent legal and administrative stages of the process. This initiative follows negotiations and agreements reached with the Ejido Playa del Carmen, the landowners of the area. The mayor acknowledged the cooperation of the ejidal commissioner, Cecilio Puc, and the ejidatarios in reaching this solution.

While the regularization is not immediate due to required legal steps, the municipal government stated that once the process is complete, the administration will proceed with infrastructure improvements, including drainage, lighting, and sidewalks.
