Esteghlal and Gol Gohar prepare for Persian Gulf Pro League clash

Coaches Mehdi Rahmati of Gol Gohar Sirjan and Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh of Esteghlal have addressed the upcoming ninth-week match of the Persian Gulf Pro League.

Rahmati highlighted the physical challenges facing Gol Gohar, noting that his squad has had only two days of rest following an intense Asian competition and travel from Bahrain. He expressed gratitude to Bakhtiarizadeh and Esteghlal for agreeing to a one-day postponement of the match to allow his players additional recovery time. Despite the fatigue, Rahmati emphasized his team's tactical readiness and desire to secure three points.

Bakhtiarizadeh praised Gol Gohar as a hardworking and energetic opponent. Regarding his own squad, he noted that while some players faced injuries following the match against Al-Gharafa, the team is currently in a better position. He emphasized that Esteghlal does not rely on a single star player, despite the strong performances of individuals like Yaser Asani, and stressed the importance of collective defensive and offensive responsibility.
