Esteghlal Khuzestan coach blames errors and refereeing for loss

Esteghlal Khuzestan head coach Amir Khalifehasl attributed his team's 2-1 defeat against Kheybar Khorramabad to individual errors and a lack of concentration during the opening minutes of both halves. Despite preparing for Kheybar's physical style of play, Khalifehasl noted that defensive lapses allowed the opposition to capitalize on opportunities.

The coach also expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating, stating that he had higher expectations for the referees given how closely the two teams are positioned in the league standings. He suggested that better officiating could have altered the match outcome.

Additionally, Khalifehasl provided an update on goalkeeper Mohammadamin Rezaei, who was hospitalized following a severe head injury. While the player's general condition has improved, he remains under medical observation. The coach also commented on the absence of spectators, noting that the lack of fans diminishes the excitement and atmosphere of the sport.
