Estepona police arrest seven Serbians in drug-related torture case
Seven Serbian nationals have been arrested in Estepona, Spain, following a violent investigation into a criminal group suspected of cocaine and hashish trafficking. The arrests occurred after police discovered a torture chamber in a rented villa on the Costa del Sol.
According to investigators, the suspects kidnapped and tortured two associates—a Spanish man and a Moroccan man—blaming them for the disappearance of 1.5 tons of drugs valued at approximately three million euros. The victims were found injured and bloodied by police, who responded to a call from a woman concerned about her partner’s whereabouts.
The two victims have reportedly agreed to cooperate with authorities, and Spanish judicial officials are currently considering granting them protected witness status.
