Ester Ledecká switches ski and snowboard brand to Head

Three-time Olympic champion Ester Ledecká is switching her ski and snowboard equipment provider. After four years with the brand Kästle, the Czech alpine skier and snowboarder has signed with Head.

Ledecká described the transition by stating that equipment acts like a ‘magic wand’ that chooses the rider. She expressed confidence that the new partnership will allow her to achieve significant results. Head’s racing director, Rainer Salzgeber, noted that Ledecká’s dual focus on alpine skiing and snowboarding presents an exciting challenge for the company, expressing hope that optimized equipment will help her compete for crystal globes in downhill and super-G events.

Ledecká joins a Head team that includes prominent athletes such as Henrik Kristoffersen, Christof Innerhofer, and Alici Robinson. This move follows Ledecká's decision to implement several changes ahead of the upcoming season, including ending her collaboration with previous coaches.
