Estevão de Mendonça State Public Library to host cultural activities for Casa Lar 3
The Estevão de Mendonça State Public Library, an entity of the State Secretariat of Culture, Sport, and Leisure (Secel-MT), will host a series of cultural activities for children and adolescents from Casa Lar 3 on October 29.
The program is designed for participants aged 8 to 14 and includes storytelling sessions led by storyteller Alicce de Oliveira, reading activities, and a slime-making workshop. To encourage engagement, the library will distribute selected books and provide refreshments, including cotton candy and hot dogs, to approximately 20 participants.
Casa Lar 3 provides provisional care for children and adolescents removed from their families due to protective measures. Meanwhile, the library's main facility at Palácio da Instrução is currently closed for renovations, with services temporarily relocated to the Secel headquarters.
