Estonia calls up Jonas Tam for UEFA Nations League matches

Estonia has made a last-minute addition to its squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches. Jonas Tam, a former Botev Plovdiv player currently playing for Sepsi in Romania, has been called up by head coach Jürgen Henn.

Tam's inclusion follows an injury to Estonia's top scorer, Henry Anier, who sustained an injury during a club match with Nõmme United. Anier, who has scored 23 goals in 102 appearances for his country, will miss the upcoming fixtures.

Although Tam is primarily a central defender, coach Henn indicated that his physical presence and experience could allow him to be utilized in an attacking role if necessary to provide a different dynamic on the pitch. Estonia is scheduled to face Bulgaria in Group C/4.
