Estonia men's volleyball team defeats Sweden in friendly

The Estonian men's national volleyball team secured a 3-2 victory against Sweden in a friendly match held in Gothenburg. The match served as part of the team's preparation for the upcoming European Championship finals.

Sweden took an early lead by winning the first two sets 25-22 and 25-22. However, Estonia responded in the third set with a 25-17 win, followed by a close 25-23 victory in the fourth set. In the deciding fifth set, Sweden held several match points, but Estonia managed to overcome the deficit. Renet Vanker secured the final point with a service ace, resulting in a 19-17 set score.

Märt Tammearu was the most productive player for Estonia with 16 points, followed by Andres Jefanov with 13 points, Timo Lõhmus with 12 points, and Alex Saaremaa with 10 points.
