Estonia men's volleyball team loses 1:3 to Belgium

The Estonian men's national volleyball team lost 1:3 to Belgium in their third match of the European Championship Group C in Tampere. After a difficult start in the first set, Estonia managed to win the second set 25:18, led by 18-year-old Andres Jefanov.

In the third set, Estonia fought back to a 21:21 tie, but Belgium secured the set 25:21. The Estonian team lacked the stamina to compete in the fourth set, resulting in a 25:14 loss to close the match. For Belgium, Sam Deroo contributed 22 points, while Martijn Colson added 12 points and six blocks.

Estonia's top performers were Andres Jefanov with 16 points and Märt Tammearu with 15 points. Following two previous losses to Serbia and Denmark, Estonia must now secure victories against teams like Belgium, the Netherlands, and Finland to maintain their hopes for advancement in the tournament.
